13. . LB/CB/S. Michigan. Jabrill Peppers. 6. player

This year’s draft class is full of defensive talent, so it’s hard to pass up on safety Jabrill Peppers out of Michigan. He’s the sixth pick in this week’s mock draft to the San Diego Chargers.

Peppers has been a terror in a number of different ways on the college football field. Consider him a playmaker for the Chargers.

He’d be a great addition with linebackers Jatavis Brown, Melvin Ingram and defensive end Joey Bosa. Brown and Ingram lead the team with three sacks. Bosa is tied for second with two, granted he’s played just two games so far.

Peppers could play safety, cornerback, or linebacker at the NFL level. As the most complete athlete in this class, it will be interesting to see if he can excel as just one position.

Not to mention, Peppers is first in the FBS and the Big Ten in punt return yards (249). Put him back to catch some punts for San Diego and he’ll be a highlight reel waiting to happen.
