The Navy Midshipmen put their 13-game home winning streak on the line this week against the Memphis Tigers.

As both teams enter American Athletic Conference play undefeated, the winner controls their destiny to the Championship game.

The Navy Midshipmen enter the game ranked 24 in the AP Poll. At 4-1 overall and 3-0 in AAC play, they enter the week as underdogs.

The offense averages 262.4 rushing yards per game with its Triple Option attack.

Fullback Chris High is the team’s leading rusher with 39 carries for 320 rushing yards. High is averaging 8.3 yards per carry on the season.

Quarterback Will Worth leads the team in passing yards with 603 yards. He has thrown three touchdowns and two interceptions. Worth has also shown his value as a rusher, rushing for 286 yards and six touchdowns.

The Midshipmen put their ranking and conference title hopes on the line this week, looking to continue their winning ways after their 46-40 upset of the Houston Cougars. They have won all their conference games this season by a possession or less.

The Memphis Tigers make their first trip to Annapolis this week looking to stay perfect in conference play.  The Tigers are 5-1 on the season and 2-0 in AAC play.

The defense leads the nation in turnovers with 18. 11 of those are interceptions and eight of those are fumbles. The Tigers are ranked fifth in the FBS in interceptions and eighth in the FBS in fumbles.

They allow just 19.3 points per game, ranked 26th in the FBS.

The Tigers offense is led by quarterback Riley Ferguson. Ferguson has 1,596 passing yards so far this season with 12 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Receiver Anthony Miller leads the receiving core with 32 catches for 438 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Running back Doroland Dorceus and Patrick Taylor Jr. have shared the bulk of the carries for the Tigers backfield this season. Dorceus has 430 rushing yards and five touchdowns this season. Taylor Jr. has 242 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Dorceus is averaging 7.3 yards per carry. Taylor Jr. is averaging 6.9 yards per carry.
