College Football Running Back Power Rankings: Week 9
By Tyler Brooke
It’s hard to put a mid-major running back ahead of someone like Dalvin Cook, but considering the season that the Boise State Broncos are having, junior running back Jeremy McNichols deserves some serious love.
McNichols was a huge factor in the Broncos avoiding an upset to BYU this past weekend, The junior RB put up 249 total yards and two total touchdowns in the 28-27 win to help Boise State move to 7-0 on the year.
Much like Cook, McNichols has been a force on the ground and through the air. He is currently sitting at sixth in the nation with 915 rushing yards to go along with 12 rushing touchdowns while adding another 372 yards and four touchdowns in the passing game.
That kind of a production from McNichols is a big reason why Boise State is still undefeated, and they’re hoping that they can rely on him to somehow sneak into the College Football Playoff.
