The path to the College Football Playoff starts here with our post-Week Eight college football power rankings.

How about Penn State? The Nittany Lions took down the unbeaten Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday night in front of 100,000 plus in Happy Valley. Louisville fans rejoice.

It wasn’t just a weekend filled with football either. The Chicago Cubs advanced to their first World Series since Alaska and Hawaii became apart of the United States. Also, we might have witnessed the worst football game in history between the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Night Football (ending in a 6-6 tie). If anyone stayed up to watch like me, it was absolutely brutal.

As most expect, there will be a lot of movement in this week’s power rankings. How could there not be? With only five weeks remaining in the regular season, here are your top ten teams in college football.
