Here’s how you can watch Thursday evening’s Oklahoma vs Iowa State game from Ames online.

Things weren’t looking good for Oklahoma to start the season. In fact, the Sooners were just 1-2 after their first three games, losing to Houston and Ohio State. However, they have since rebounded to post a 6-2 record and unbeaten mark in Big 12 play.

Baker Mayfield is playing like the 2015 version of himself, passing for 2,584 yards, 27 touchdowns and five interceptions with a 71 percent completion rate. He has been one of the best pure passers in the nation over the past month and a half.

Dede Westbrook has taken over the role that Sterling Shepard held last year of Mayfield’s favorite target. He leads Oklahoma with 57 catches for 1,035 yards and 11 touchdowns. He might be the best receiver in the Big 12.

Iowa State, on the other hand, has been one of the worst teams in the country this season, posting a 1-7 record to this point in the year. The Cyclones might not win a conference game this season, but three out of five of their Big 12 losses have been by a score or less.

Sophomore Jacob Park and junior Joel Lanning have been rotating at quarterback and the uncertainty at that position might be a reason for the team’s overall struggles. The Cyclones still manage to average 252 yards per game through the air.

Mike Warren leads the lackluster run game with 530 yards and three touchdowns on 4.3 yards per touch. The real star of the offense has been Allen Lazard who leads all receivers with 42 catches for 582 yards and for touchdowns.
