College football’s preeminent pregame show, ESPN’s College GameDay, heads to Baton Rouge to showcase No. 1 Alabama’s SEC West matchup against No. 13 LSU.

On a day largely bereft of big matchups, one stands above the rest — No. 1 Alabama at No. 13 LSU. A now healthy Leonard Fournette leads a resurrected Tigers team up against yet another dominant Nick Saban defense. For the second straight year and fifth of the last six, College GameDay will be at the Alabama-LSU game.

This is the ninth time GameDay will feature the SEC West rivalry. Alabama has won six of the previous  meetings including the last four. The Tigers’ last win was a 9-6 win in overtime during the 2011 regular season. The Crimson Tide got revenge with a win over LSU in the National Championship game that year.

Last year in Tuscaloosa, the Crimson Tide rode current Tennesse Titan running back Derrick Henry’s  210 yards and three touchdowns on 38 carries to a 30-16 win. The Alabama defense held Fournette to just 31 yards on 19 carries. His touchdown came in the fourth quarter with the Tigers down 20.

Lee Corso enters Week 10 riding high on a five-game winning streak and is looking for six straight for the first time since 2013.  Corso is 7-2 this season, including a loss with LSU in Week 1 and a win with Alabama in Week 8. Corso is 17-8 when taking Alabama and 12-5 when throwing on the Mike the Tiger head.
