Let’s take a look at the College Football Playoff projections after the 10th week the 2016 season.

Week 10 of the college football season has wrapped up and there are reasons to believe that the top-three spots in the College Football Playoff rankings are all but wrapped up. Those unbeaten teams such as Alabama, Clemson and Michigan look poised to run the table, but the Wolverines still have a huge game left on the schedule against Ohio State. Oh yeah, and Alabama has the Iron Bowl coming up against Auburn.

A handful of top teams lost in Week 10 such as Florida who came in at No. 11, No. 10 Nebraska, No. 17 Baylor and even fourth-ranked Texas A&M. They may have blown their chances to contend for conference crowns as well as playoff appearances.

Did Texas A&M blow its chances of playing in the playoff this season? The Aggies were ranked No. 4 in last week’s poll but the committee looks a little silly now for ranking them above an unbeaten Washington squad. Will they drop below the No. 10 spot in the latest poll?

Moreover, after Baylor began the season 6-0, the Bears are now 6-2 after a blowout home loss to TCU. The hopes of the Bears to win the Big 12 and represent the conference in the playoff are dashed.

The College Football Playoff rankings for Week 11 don’t get released until Tuesday evening, but it’s never too early to predict where each team will be slotted. Here are our projections for the top 10 teams in the College Football Playoff rankings this week.
