Ohio State will be the second one-loss team in as many weeks to settle into this No. 4 spot in the playoff rankings. The Buckeyes dismantled the No. 10 team in college football last week, 62-3, and that 59-point win over a top-10 opponent is enough for the Buckeyes to leapfrog the Washington Huskies for the fourth spot.

The Buckeyes put on a show in front of a national audience but the best sight of the night wasn’t  the blowout win, but a healthy Tommy Armstrong trotting onto the sidelines after taking a scary hit that looked to be a potential neck injury. He wasn’t moving much after the hit, but came back in his hospital scrubs to cheer the Cornhuskers on.

It was a definite feel-good moment for everyone, but the sting of a 59-point road loss to Ohio State was still tough for Nebraska to deal with.

This is the kind of win that can engineer a mammoth momentum shift in Ohio State’s favor for the remainder of the season and it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Buckeyes finish the regular season with three consecutive wins.

J.T. Barrett had his best game in a few weeks and looked like the Heisman contender everyone expected to see while the Buckeyes’ defense looked legit as well.

Ohio State is the best one-loss team in the country.
