SEC Football: Takeaways for Each Team from Week 10
Texas A&M Aggies
Texas A&M 28-Mississippi State 35
WHAT?
HUH?
No disrespect to Mississippi State and Dan Mullen, but what in the world happened? The Bulldogs defense was getting lit up by teams like UMass and Samford. Mississippi State nearly blew every walkthrough game it had, but somehow managed to knock off the #4 team in the country?
What!?
Texas A&M couldn’t get it together offensively without transfer Trevor Knight, who was injured early in the game. Now we all have to sit and wonder about the Aggies moving forward.
Impact Moving Forward
-Major Cause for Concern
Days after the College Football Playoff Committee gave major props and included Texas A&M in the top 4, the Aggies crapped all over the committee. It has to be disconcerting for A&M fans that Sumlin seems unable to develop a quarterback. His greatest seasons to date have been due to Johnny Manziel (special talent) and Trevor Knight (a transfer qb). Sumlin can’t seem to get it together offensively, and Texas A&M fans should start being concerned.
