Kentucky vs Tennessee live stream: Watch Wildcats vs Volunteers online
Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Kentucky vs Tennessee game from Knoxville online.
Tennessee was looking like a legitimate national title threat just a few weeks ago, but the Volunteers have since fallen off the radar. Three straight losses in conference play will do that to a team, along with an announced transfer of top running back Jalen Hurd.
Hurd revealed last week that he would be looking for a new school after promises from Butch Jones this offseason were broken. He finished the season with just 451 yards and three touchdowns after opening as a Heisman contender.
Joshua Dobbs, another preseason Heisman candidate, has been slightly disappointing as well, passing for just 1,869 yards and 18 touchdowns with 11 picks. He is second to Hurd in rushing with 323 yards and first in touchdowns with five.
Can you believe that the Kentucky Wildcats are just one win away from becoming bowl eligible for the first time under Mark Stoops? After starting the year just 2-3, it wasn’t looking like a possibility, but three wins in four games have changed that.
This would be the Wildcats’ first bowl since 2010 and it would give Stoops a much-needed improvement season. His seat has been growing increasingly warmer over the past year, or so, and he likely needed to make a bowl to keep his job.
The run game has been carrying this team through nine games, averaging about 215 yards per game on the ground. Stanley Williams and Benny Snell Jr. have been a two-headed monster in the backfield and could give Tennessee fits.
