Check out how to stream this ACC Atlantic game between the NC State Wolfpack (4-5, 1-4 ACC) and the Syracuse Orange (4-5, 2-3).

Both NC State and Syracuse are somehow still in position to get bowl eligible despite their inconsistent seasons. While it will no doubt be challenging for either to win at least two of their last three games, whoever wins this one will be infinitely more likely with one less upset needed to pull off in the season’s final two weeks.

The Orange have been dangerous at times this season on the offensive side of the ball, especially through the air. They are 11th in the country in passing yards per game, led by sophomore quarterback Eric Dungey. Dungey has racked up 2679 yards through the air, third in the ACC. However, Dungey has missed some time and went out in the first quarter in their 54-0 loss to Clemson last week with a concussion. His status is still up in the air. His backups, juniors Austin Wilson and Zach Mahoney, are a combined 26 for 40 for 233 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.

NC State has found about every way possible to lose in the ACC this season, and fourth-year coach Dave Doeren’s head might be on the chopping block because of it. The Wolfpack have lost their last four games, three of which have come by a touchdown or less. The snowball started rolling with a near upset of Clemson that they handed back to them in OT thanks to a missed chip shot to end regulation. A drubbing by Louisville and giving Boston College their first ACC win in two years further agitated the fanbase. Last week, they just missed the upset of Florida State. The good news is NC State is undefeated at Syracuse and are 8-1 in the series overall.
