Pittsburgh’s Jester Weah hauls in amazing one-handed catch vs Clemson

Pittsburgh Panthers wide receiver Jester Weah dropped some jaws during Saturday’s game against the Clemson Tigers with this incredible catch.
Incredible catches happen on a weekly basis nowadays in college football. Pittsburgh Panthers wide receiver Jester Weah was able to add his name to a growing list of Catch of the Year candidates on Saturday.
The Panthers were trying to drive and get some points before halftime late in the second quarter against the Clemson Tigers on Saturday. Pittsburgh quarterback Nathan Peterman decided to go deep and look for Weah despite the receiver being totally blanketed by Clemson cornerback Cordrea Tankersley as the two streaked down the sideline.
Despite the impressive coverage, Weah was somehow able to get a hand on the football and haul it in, all while someone staying in bounds. That helped the Panthers get into field goal position, but they weren’t able to get any points on the drive.
Still, you have to be impressed with that catch from Weah, which you can see courtesy of Twitter below.
Despite not scoring on the drive, the Panthers were still doing a great job of staying in the game. At halftime, the Panthers trailed Clemson just 28-27 thanks to four touchdown passes from Peterman.
This could be a huge upset win for the Panthers. Clemson is trying to find its way into the College Football Playoff, but a loss this late in the season could hurt them badly. A loss would also cause a lot of people to ask whether or not Louisville should move ahead of them in the CFP rankings.
Regardless of the outcome, you have to tip your cap to Weah for this insane catch.
