The Oregon Ducks and the Stanford Cardinal meet in a battle of two disappointing Pac-12 teams. Here is how to watch the game online.

The Oregon Ducks have to win this game. Let me say that again; Oregon has to win this game. If they do not, then they will secure their first losing season since 2004. In order for that to not happen, their defense will have to stop Stanford running back, Christian McCaffrey. That probably will not happen given the state of the Oregon defense. Therefore the Ducks need to do their best to outscore the Cardinal, which their offense is capable of doing.

Stanford has begun pull their season together after a mid year slump that included losses to Washington, Washington State and Colorado. The main catalyst for that turnaround, has been none other than running back, Christian McCaffrey, who has begun to heat up after being slowed down by defenses and injuries during the three losses that the team has. Stanford’ defense has not always been that great this season, so they will have to better to slow down Oregon, even though the Ducks record does not reflect it, their offense is still as lethal as it has been in the past.

Both teams do not inspire a lot of confidence, both have their problems as teams, particularly on defense. Having said that, I do think that the game being at home for Oregon, and the fact that they have to win in order to keep their bowl game hopes alive, the Ducks simply have more motivation to go out and win this game than Stanford. Ducks win a close one.
