Louisville vs Houston live stream: Watch Cardinals vs Cougars online
Here’s how you can watch Thursday evening’s Louisville vs Houston game from TDECU Stadium online.
Louisville can’t be happy with its latest position in the College Football Playoff rankings. In fact, the Cardinals felt that it was nearly a sure thing that they’d move up this week after three teams ahead of them fell last week when they were ranked No. 7.
The Cardinals will likely have to win out and hope for some more upsets ahead of them. Oh, and no surprise that Lamar Jackson is leading the country in the Heisman race. The sophomore quarterback has been killing it, recording 2,898 passing and 1,334 rushing yards to go along with 46 total touchdowns.
Arguably the most impressive thing about this offense outside of Jackson has been the fact that the team is averaging 6.7 yards per carry. Oh yeah, and there are three receivers with over 500 yards and a fourth is soon to join them.
On the other hand, Houston is just fighting for respectability at this point in the season. After starting 6-0 and looking like a surefire playoff contender, the Cougars have since been upset twice by Navy and SMU. Can they pull off an upset in this one?
Greg Ward Jr. was Houston’s version of Jackson earlier in the season, but his Heisman hype has since cooled considerably. He has still played well, passing for 2,608 yards and 16 touchdowns while rushing for 429 yards and nine touchdowns.
The senior quarterback has a wealth of talent to throw to as he also has three receivers with over 500 yards, led by Linell Bonner. Chance Allen and Steven Dunbar follow him and the three have combined for 10 scores.
