USC’s Adoree Jackson hurdles player on kickoff return TD vs Notre Dame

USC Trojans star Adoree Jackson showed off his athleticism on an impressive kickoff return for a touchdown on Saturday against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

There have been few players more crucial to the USC Trojans’ success this season than cornerback and return man Adoree Jackson. The talented athlete showed why he can be so deadly during Saturday’s game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The Trojans were able to take a 24-7 lead before halftime on Saturday, but continued to make plays in the third quarter. Jackson came in and scored a 52-yard touchdown as a receiver on offense to take a 31-14 lead, but Notre Dame’s DeShone Kizer answered with a score of his own a few minutes later to cut the lead to 31-21.

Unfortunately for Kizer and the rest of the Notre Dame team, the Fighting Irish’s kickoff coverage team wasn’t able to contain Jackson. On the ensuing kickoff, Adoree found a hole and took off for a huge return. With one man in his way, the Trojans star was able to hurdle the defender on his way to a 97-yard touchdown. Jackson is expected to be one of the first defensive backs taken in the 2017 NFL draft, and a game like this one is definitely going to help his draft stock due to his ability to make plays all over the field.

As for the Trojans, they’re hoping that they can pull off this win and have the Colorado Buffaloes go down to the Utah Utes so that they can take on Washington in the Pac-12 Championship.
