Both the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines enter the final week of the season with one thing on their minds: a College Football Playoff berth.

The Michigan Wolverines are 10-1, their lone loss coming two weeks ago against Iowa 14-13. The Ohio State Buckeyes are 10-1 as well, with their lone loss coming five weeks ago against Penn State 24-21.

The Buckeyes have home field advantage but will it be enough to stop the playmaking ability of safety Jabrill Peppers and the Wolverines?

Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett enters the game fifth in the Big Ten in passing yards with 2,304 yards. Barrett has thrown 24 touchdowns and four interceptions this season. The running game is led by running back Mike Weber. He’s ran for 1,036 rushing yards and eight touchdown on the year.

Ohio State linebacker Raekwon McMillan leads the defense in total tackles with 71 tackles. Defensive lineman Tyquan Lewis leads the team with 7.5 sacks.

The Wolverines may be without starting quarterback Wilton Speight, but they don’t seem to be in a panic. With safety Jabrill Peppers on the team, it’s hard to blame them. Peppers has three offensive touchdowns this season for the Michigan offense, a punt return for a touchdown, and leads the FBS in punt return yards with 305 yards.

There hasn’t been much Peppers has been unable to do for the Wolverines this season. Expect for him to be featured early and often in the team’s final game of the season.

A win gives Michigan a share of the Big Ten East division crown. They would play Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship game.
