As for the game, its offense vs defense. Wisconsin’s defense vs Penn State’s offense. Whoever can get the bigger push at the line will have the advantage in this game. Wisconsin is ranked third in defense. They only allow 13.7 points a game. Penn State will need to find creative ways to move the ball and keep the Badger defense on their heels all game. Penn State is all around a good team. Pretty good in ever part of their game.
Wisconsin will need to find consistency in the passing game. Their running game is their biggest strength on offense with Corey Clement, who has run for over 1,000 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. They have a little trouble with the QB position this year, yet they are still 10-2. Wisconsin’s defense has been great and their offense has been just good enough to get them to this point.
This will now be Lee Corso’s 289th headgear pick. He is posting a 191-97 record all time and is 9-4 on the year. Lee Corso is 5-3 when he picks Wisconsin, but he is 8-2 when he picks against Penn State. This may be a tough pick for Corso. Wisconsin is only a three point favorite, its a rather even matchup. If he follows statistics then picking against Penn State and taking Wisconsin seems to be the best move.
Corso took the Badgers in the Big Ten Championship, while guest picker Keegan-Micheal Key took Penn State.
