Ohio State Buckeyes lead college teams on Fandom 250

The Fandom 250 is live, and a number of college programs have made the list, including the Ohio State Buckeyes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

After months of sorting out the top 250 fandoms in the world of sports and entertainment, the Fandom 250 is finally live, and a number of top-tier college football programs have made the list.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have been selected as having the most passionate fans of any college program in 2016. In fact, the Buckeyes were even able to crack the top 10, coming ahead of the likes of LeBron James and Harry Potter with a strong No. 8 ranking.

Other programs to crack the Fandom 250 include the Alabama Crimson Tide, who came in just behind the Green Bay Packers with a solid No. 22 finish. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish landed a few spots ahead of Alabama at No. 17 due to their timeless traditions and culture in South Bend, Indiana.

While the rankings are based off of the college’s football and basketball fans, it’s clear that football is the dominant reason Ohio State, Alabama and Notre Dame finish so high on the list. Here’s every college program that was able to crack the Fandom 250.
