5. QB Justin Herbert, Oregon

The Oregon Ducks will be in good hands under new head coach Willie Taggart. Quarterback Justin Herbert shouldn’t have a hard time adjusting to his new ball coach. Tossed in the fire in the middle of the season, Herbert started seven games for Oregon this season. He became the first true freshman to start at quarterback for the Ducks since 1983.

Herbert threw for 1,936 passing yards, 19 touchdown passes and just four interceptions. He also ran for 161 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Herbert completed 63.5 percent of his passes this season, which ranks third in the Pac-12. He was an accurate passer but the Oregon defense was pretty bad all season long. They gave up 41.4 points per game, which is 126th out of 128 FBS teams.

Look for the Ducks to find their way back to the top behind quarterback Justin Herbert and company.
