3. QB Jarrett Stidham, Auburn

The Auburn Tigers may have finally solved their quarterback problem. Quarterback Jarrett Stidham is eligible to play next season for the Tigers. He gives Auburn their best quarterback arguably since Cam Newton stepped on campus.

If you don’t remember quarterback Jarrett Stidham, you should. As a freshman at Baylor, Stidham threw for 1,265 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and only two interceptions. He completed 68.8 percent of his passes.

At 8-4 this season, Auburn found themselves rotating three quarterbacks before deciding on Sean White by mid-October. However, White hurt his shoulder, thus putting the quarterback position in further disarray.

Head coach Gus Malzahn hopes that with Stidham under center, the Tigers can breakout and return to SEC prominence. They’ll return two running backs (Kamryn Pettway and Kerryon Johnson) that ran for over 800 rushing yards each in 2016 as well.
