Last but certainly not least, the defensive back drills will finish off the 2017 NFL Combine on Monday; it sure does go by fast but at least the Combine finishes off with quite an exciting and star-powered group of prospects to watch, headlined by LSU’s Jamal Adams and Michigan’s Jabrill Peppers, among a host of other corner and safety prospects.

While Jamal Adams and Jabrill Peppers dominate the safety position conversation, as well as Washington’s Budda Baker, the cornerback prospects will be led by Alabama’s Marlon Humphrey, Ohio State’s Marston Lattimore and Florida’s Jalen Tabor. All of these players have first round potential and will make the defensive back drills a sure enough competitive event. Other players to keep an eye on will be Colorado’s Chidobe Awuzie and Florida’s Quincy Wilson.

The need for quality corner and safety play has become ever more important in the NFL with the uptick in elite passers and offenses and this crop of NFL defensive backs, certainly brings in an influx of talented players to the league.
