Oregon football enters the first year of the Willie Taggart era loaded with plenty of talent. Here is the projected two-deep depth chart for the 2017 Ducks.

Oregon is still just three years removed from Marcus Mariota’s Heisman trophy and a spot in the inaugural College Football Playoff championship game. But  the Ducks parted ways with Mark Helfrich following a 4-8 season last year. The continuity that began with Rich Brooks and a succession of Oregon offensive coordinators turned head coaches ended with Helfrich’s firing.

The Ducks thus enter a new era begins in 2017, as Willie Taggart takes over in Eugene. He inherits a roster that is far better on paper than last year’s record indicates. 2016 brought a slew of injuries, leading the team to depend on youngsters at several key positions.

Those trials and tribulations, though, should make the Ducks stronger in the upcoming season. If Oregon suffers fewer injury woes, they could return to contention in the Pac-12 North.

That is, of course, always a big if to consider. But at the very least, the Autzen faithful should get to see a much deeper team than they encountered last season. Click ahead to see our projected two-deep at every position for the Ducks.
