Looking for a list of when each Big Ten football team begins fall camp? You’ve come to the right place.

July is winding down, bringing the month of August, and that means one thing for football fans: it’s almost here. The college football season is nearly upon us and it’s time to look at the start of each respective conference’s training camps.

For Big Ten football, most teams begin action on Monday, July 31, but there are a few programs in the conference which open slightly early or slightly later.

If you’re like the rest of the fans from the conference, you can’t wait for camps to start so we can begin to figure out position battles, breakout stars and top players from each team. Well, you’ve come to the right place.

Here’s a complete list of each program’s fall camp start date:

Illinois: July 31
Indiana: July 31
Iowa: July 31
Maryland: July 31
Michigan: July 31
Michigan State: July 31
Minnesota: August 1
Nebraska: July 30
Northwestern: August 5
Ohio State: Practice: July 27, 28, 31 and Aug. 1, 3, 4, 5; Camp starts: August 7
Penn State: July 31

Technically, Wisconsin is the first to open camp and they will do so on Saturday while Nebraska follows suit on Sunday. Ohio State is holding practice on July 27, 28, 31 and Aug. 1, 3, 4 and 5 as Urban Meyer said at Big Ten media days. The official start of Ohio State “camp” is Aug. 7, though.
