SEC football is right around the corner, but when does each team in the conference begin 2017 fall camp?

Following the conclusion of the 2016 season, it looked like one of the nation’s top conferences, the SEC, was giving up ground to an up-and-comer, the ACC. However, many would argue that the ACC still has a long way to go to catch up to SEC football, and that argument will rage on forever.

Pacing the SEC is perennial powerhouse Alabama. The Crimson Tide seem to win the conference title each season because, well, they do. Nick Saban is the best coach in the country and his Alabama team is not to be messed with — just ask Florida.

Speaking of the Gators, they have a lot to be excited about heading into fall camp. New quarterback Malik Zaire will be on hand to help clear up the situation under center, but he will be battling with redshirt freshman Feleipe Franks.

Other top conference contenders are Auburn, LSU, Georgia and Texas A&M. Ole Miss would have made the cut if it weren’t for Hugh Freeze’s resignation and the team’s self-imposed 2017 bowl ban. So much to look forward to this fall.

Here’s a complete list of each program’s fall camp start date:

Alabama: August 3
Arkansas: July 27
Auburn: July 30
Florida: August 3
Georgia: July 31
Kentucky: July 30
LSU: July 31
Mississippi State: July 25
Missouri: August 1
Ole Miss: August 2
South Carolina: July 31
Tennessee: July 29
Texas A&M: August 3
Vanderbilt: July 31

Coverage of the SEC will continue all summer and you can be sure teams like Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Auburn will be making headlines concerning breakout stars and depth chart surprises.
