No. 3 – A trip to the College Football Playoff

If you are the quarterback on a college football playoff team, you are automatically in the Heisman conversation. I can hear people yelling at me now… “But George, UCLA can’t make the College Football Playoff!” Why can’t they?

Because of Rosen, games against Texas A&M, Stanford, Oregon, USC and Washington are all winnable games for the Bruins. The quarterback is the most important position in all of sports. If you have a great one, you can beat anybody. Josh Rosen is a great QB and capable of playing at a high level all season.

If the Bruins can win those key games, they will absolutely be one of the top four teams heading to the College Football Playoff. And Rosen will officially be a Heisman winner. History has shown us that players whose teams are in the College Football Playoff/BCS are likely to end as Heisman finalist.

From 2013 to 2015 at least two of the top four finalists represented in the BCS championship game or College Football Playoff.  In 2016, five of the top seven players in Heisman voting were in the College Football Playoff. This year will be no different.
