4. Razorbacks lose to Alabama, but beat Auburn

No one is expected Arkansa to go on the road and beat Alabama. Nope, not even the guy bringing you bold predictions, but I will say this: Auburn should be careful. The Tigers enter the 2017 season with plenty of hype, but there’s always one road game in SEC play that favorites seem to get tripped up on.

Auburn begins the season with a layup against Georgia Southern before going on the road to face defending champ Clemson. If they win that game, there’s a good chance the Tigers win the next five and begin the season 7-0 before traveling to Arkansas.

The game is sandwiched between an LSU road game and Texas A&M at home and the Tigers might just overlook the Razorbacks. In fact, it’s the perfect trap game and one that could end Auburn’s perfect season bid.

Arkansas will be coming off a hard-fought loss to Alabama (31-21) on the road and the close defeat will give the Razorbacks some added confidence against Auburn. The Razorbacks will spoil the Tigers’ unbeaten campaign and improve to 6-1 on the year.
