The first games of the college football season gets underway on Saturday. Here the full game schedule including start times and channels.

Oregon State at Colorado State 2:30 p.m. ET (CBS)

One of two Power-5 teams playing on the first Saturday of football, Oregon State isn’t exactly a national power. That said, this is the first game of the college football season and the eyes of the nation will rest of Fort Collins, CO. At least until the BYU game kicks off.

Portland State at BYU 3:00 p.m. ET (ESPN)

BYU hopes to be the first independent to break into the College Football Playoff. That quest starts with a game against the Vikings. They better not get caught looking ahead to a matchup with LSU next weekend.

Hawaii at UMass 6:00 p.m. ET (Mountain West App)

This could be the closest of the games on the first Saturday slate of college football. The Warriors are making the return trip to Massachusetts after the Minutemen visited Hawaii last year. These schools combined to go 9-17 last year. It’s not going to be pretty, but it is football.

No. 19 South Florida at San Jose State 7:30 p.m. ET (CBS)

USF quarterback Quinton Flowers is going to put on a show and there isn’t much that the Spartan defense is going to be able to do about it. If you like offense, this is the game for you.

No. 14 Stanford at Rice 9:00 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Rice is coming off of one of the worst season in seven years, including a year ending defeat at the hands of the Cardinal. This year’s game has one interesting wrinkle: it’s being played in Sydney, Australia.
