ACC Football: Week 1 viewing guide
August 26th through September 4th marks the opening “week” of the college football season for 2017. Here’s the schedule for every ACC football game.
Thursday, August 31
The ACC doesn’t get involved until Thursday, August 31st when Presbyterian College travels to Wake Forest to play the Demon Deacons. The Wake kickoff is at 6:30 on our beloved ACC Network, now streaming on Watch ESPN and we should all get used to that for a while.

Friday, September 1
On Friday, the ACC gets more action with Central Connecticut traveling to Syracuse for a 7:00 kickoff on The ACC Network, and Boston College visiting Northern Illinois for a 9:30 kickoff on CBSSN.

Saturday, September 2
The season gets in full swing in the afternoon with Kent State at Clemson (Noon, ESPN), Cal at UNC (12:20, ACCN), Bethune Cookman at Miami (12:30, ACCN), Youngstown State at Pitt (1:00, ACCN), NC State vs. South Carolina (3:00 ESPN), William & Mary at UVA (3:30, ACCN).

The evening games start at 6:00 with North Carolina Central traveling to Duke (6:00, ACCN), Louisville vs. Purdue at Lucas Oil Stadium (7:30, Fox), and Florida State vs. Bama at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (8:00, ABC).

Sunday, September 3
On Sunday, September 3rd West Virginia vs Virginia Tech is at 7:30 on ABC from FedEx Field in Maryland.

Monday, September 4
On Monday the opening week wraps up with the Tennessee Vols taking on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at 8:00 on ESPN from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It’s the new home of the Atlanta Falcons and it looks ridiculously awesome. This is the Labor Day game that’s seen some real highs and lows over the years.
