The new Michigan Football Jordan Brand football uniforms resemble dijon honey mustard or a bad VW Bug color of maize to go with the typical Michigan blue
Jordan Brand and Michigan teamed up for the 150th year of maize and blue being the Wolverines school colors and came out with a new all-maize uniform combination. A traditional powerhouse, the Michigan Wolverines are a household brand across the United States. Everyone knows the symbolic winged helmets worn by UM (and Princeton).
The Wolverines have had some of college football’s most notable legends in Bo Schembechler, Llyod Carr, Charles Woodson Tom Brady, Dan Dierdorf and Desmond Howard not to mention countless other All-Americans and NFL mainstays. The Ohio State vs. Michigan rivalry is one of legend watched across the country every season.
Even with all of the pageantry of an old school look like Michigan’s- here comes Jordan Brand. The maize mess is an embarrassing stain on the Wolverines’ tradition. What’s so bad with last year’s blue jerseys? Nothing. They’re traditional and honestly pretty darn sleek. It’s also surprising a bland dresser like Jim Harbaugh allowed for uniforms so ugly, but maybe this was more about financial gains and less about tradition this time around.

However, while I hate them they can’t be all bad, right? There is a pro which is you don’t have to worry about spilling mustard from your soft pretzel at the Big House in your maize $250 authentic replica jersey. Also, beer stains won’t show up as prominently on a maize jersey. There’s a maize lining to every problem.
