The 2017 Big Ten football season is here and with it comes the first power rankings of the year.
Finally after months and months of talking recruiting, spring ball, summer workouts and fall camp, we have actual football games this upcoming Saturday for the Big Ten.
Nothing beats a college football Saturday and we’re about to dive into another exciting season. The Big Ten is primed with some of the best teams in the country, some good teams and some not so good teams.
We’ll breakdown and rank each team weekly to where they stand in the conference. For the first week, it’s more about last season’s results, the direction of the program, and where the team sits after fall camp.
After this week, the biggest factor will be weekly results. If a team has a quality win, they’ll move up. A team loses, expect them to get dropped. If you, the reader, disagrees, feel free to leave comments. I’m always up for a good college football debate.
With that in mind, let’s get to the first Big Ten power rankings of the 2017 season.
