3. Mason Rudolph will pick up right where he left off

Oklahoma State has luxury of having an experienced signal-caller lining up under center. Unlike other teams around the Big 12 the Cowboys have no doubt who their quarterback will be heading into 2017. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Rudolph threw for 28 touchdowns in 2017 and only four interceptions. He also has weapons to work with in wide out James Washington and running back Justice Hill returning.

Rudolph will put on a show in the opener against Tulsa, both of these teams are explosive on offense and Mason will put on a show for the home crowd. His passing efficiency was 63 percent along with passing for 4,091 yards in 2016.

I expect for him to build on the success he displayed last year and have a similar year statistically and it starts with this matchup against Tulsa. Oklahoma State has a chance to have a fast start before a Power Five matchup with Pitt in Week 3.

Oklahoma State needs to take care of business on Thursday to establish itself as only real contender to the Sooner in the Big 12. This game will be a good primer for high-powered offenses that are in the Big 12.
