Here’s how you can watch Thursday evening’s Utah vs North Dakota game from Salt Lake City, Utah, online.
Like most years, Utah enters its 2017 season with high hopes yet little national recognition. Despite joining a Power Five conference not too long ago, the Utes still struggle to gain respect in the national landscape.
Just last year, the Utes finished with a 9-4 record and a bowl win over Indiana. Kyle Whittingham put together another successful season and broke the 100-win mark with the program. He’s hoping for an even more successful 2017 season, and this time it will be led by a new signal-caller.
Troy Williams was voted as a senior captain, but the returning starter at quarterback lost his job in fall camp to sophomore Tyler Huntley. That will be one of the major storylines to watch in this one. Will Huntley be able to impress enough to keep that job?
However, North Dakota was one of the best teams in the Big Sky a season ago, finishing 9-3 and second overall in the conference. The Fighting Hawks played just one FBS team in 2016, taking Bowling Green down the wire before losing, 27-26. They surely have the talent to compete at a high level, but Utah may just be too much.
