Week 1 of the 2017 college football season is finally here, here’s a look at three under-the-radar games on the schedule.

Spring games are over with, teams have complete fall camp and starting quarterbacks have been named. Now, it’s time for teams to show what they can do.

The beauty of the early college football schedule is the plethora of potential upsets brewing in the non-ranked portion of the schedule. Top-ranked foes get their shot at others in the rankings while Non-Power 5 schools get an early shot at upsets.

Upsets come in many different forms these days. FCS schools can upset FBS schools, putting a damper on potential bowl trips. Possibly ranked teams have a chance to show what they can do, too.

It’s early in the schedule, which means the potential for under-the-radar games multiplies exponentially. Some teams are adjusting to new starters while others are looking for their stars to pick up where they left off.

The Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida State Seminoles do face off in a battle of top five teams, but other challenges await teams who aren’t in the playoff talk as well. Here are three under-the-radar games to watch in Week 1.
