Check out the best signs from College GameDay’s second show of Labor Day Weekend. This time the gang is live from Atlanta for Alabama vs. Florida State.
Thursday night was the first College GameDay of the season. It was the show’s first trip to Bloomington. While it was nice that GameDay made an appearance somewhere new, it didn’t feel like a normal show. Today’s show will feel much more like the first College GameDay of the 2017 season.
That was no fault of the Indiana Hoosiers’ fans. Because Ohio State at Indiana was a Thursday night game, College GameDay was the pregame show. They decided to broadcast from inside the stadium. While there were some signs, there was not that customary sea of people behind the guys.
They do not have that problem today. While it is at a neutral site, they are broadcasting outside. They found a patch of grass between the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Georgia Dome and Phillips Arena. The Florida State and Alabama fans are out in full force. It’s only a three-hour drive from Tuscaloosa and less than five from Tallahassee. Atlanta also has plenty of college football fans of its own.
Here are some of the best signs of the day:

They messed up how an iPhone/iMessage works, but it’s still a solid joke.

Cheap shot at the host city upfront with bonus points for the Anchorman reference in the back.
Can't wait for @CollegeGameDay! Please put this sign on TV! #game1 & #bestgamedaysign #collegeroommateisanartist pic.twitter.com/VqYCSDbAJL

I could take or leave the sign, but that mask is nightmare fuel.
This is less about someone bringing a sign of a guy no one will recognize (other than our new friend Jeremy apparently) and more about the good crowd shot to see more signs.

This is a sneaky great sign. It’s just a clean, crisp, pithy joke. There are lots of ways to go with Florida jokes nowadays. With all the “Florida man” stories, the go-to shot at Florida is now more that it is a meth/pill-addicted, gator-infested Mad Max movie. Nice to see someone bring back a classic.

Next: Predicting every College GameDay location in 2017
Will the Tide probably win? Or, will the Seminoles maybe win? Which mascot garb will Lee Corso don at the end of GameDay?
