1. Revenge is on UCLA’s mind

These two teams made for a fun game to watch to start the 2016 campaign. It was one of the better Week 1 matchups last year. With home field advantage, UCLA could reverse their fortunes and win this one.

Both Kyle Field and the Rose Bowl are special places to watch a game. This year, the Rose Bowl is the site of UCLA vs. Texas A&M. That could be all the Bruins need to gain an edge. UCLA did notch three of their four wins at home in 2016.

Former Oklahoma transfer Trevor Knight led the Aggie offense last year, until he got injured. Hubenak led Texas A&M the rest of the way. The difference was the Aggies looked like a College Football Playoff contender when Knight was behind center. They went 3-3 with Hubenak as the starter.

Not only does UCLA need a bounce back season in 2017, Jim Mora needs to save his job. He could easily buy himself some time by defeating Texas A&M in Week 1. UCLA has all the resources needed to pull off the victory.
