No. 9 Wisconsin beat Utah State 59-10

Offense: B-
Defense: A-
Overall: B-

The first 28:48 of the game was almost a complete fail for the Badgers. They allowed 10 points, and scored none against Utah State. Wisconsin was able to save their grade by scoring 59 unanswered points from the last 1:12 of the second quarter till the end of the game.

The Badgers offense finished well, but started slowly. I was impressed with their almost methodical play. Their quarterback Alex Hornibrook finished with a nice stat line, but wasn’t as sharp as he will need to be to beat top Big Ten teams like Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan.

After a sluggish start, the defense locked in. They allowed less than 100 yards rushing, and forced four turnovers. It was a dominating performance by the Badgers defense.

Overall, it was a solid performance by Wisconsin. I like the fact they didn’t let up in the fourth quarter and give up cheap touchdowns.
