3. The front seven is the best in the country

Indiana had trouble getting anything going with their rushing attack. Their starting RB Mike Majette totaled six yards on seven carries. The Hoosiers’ leading rusher, Morgan Ellison, totaled only 24 yards on seven carries.

Ohio State held strong in the front seven the entire game. They were always getting pressure on Lagow, and it got progressively worse for Indiana as the game went along. Tyquan Lewis and Sam Hubbard combined for three sacks.

Oklahoma has a good passing game but is not as good on the ground. Ohio State needs to take advantage of that. The Buckeyes could dominate the Sooners up front and get some pressure on Mayfield, forcing him to make bad mistakes.

The depth that the Buckeyes have in the front seven is nothing but insane. Any team that has four potential first round NFL Draft picks to go along with a good secondary is a team that all opponents should fear.
