Big 12 football went 7-3 as a whole on opening weekend. Who made the biggest Week 1 impression?

Oklahoma State got things rolling for the Big 12 on Thursday night with an impressive 59-24 win over Tulsa, while West Virginia capped the weekend for the conference on Sunday night in a game that came down to the last seconds against Virginia Tech.

Saturday evening was a busy one for the Big 12 too as six members were in action at home: Baylor against Liberty, Iowa State against Northern Iowa, Kansas against Southeast Missouri State, Kansas State against Central Arkansas, Texas Christian against Jackson State and Texas Tech against Eastern Washington. A few were close. A few games weren’t. But we finally got a taste of real football again.

And it’s just one game, but we’re starting to get answers to some long-awaited questions

Can Lincoln Riley pick up where Bob Stoops left off in Norman? Will Mike Gundy get Oklahoma State over the hump in 2017? Is Texas finally back? What do we make of Kansas State and West Virginia? How much more time does Kliff Kingsbury have at Texas Tech? As you can tell, there’s plenty to be asked.
