Louisville opens up its conference slate in Chapel Hill on Saturday against North Carolina. The Cardinals enter the game nine-point favorites.

North Carolina is coming off a loss in Week 1 against California 35-30. The Tar Heels allowed over 360 yards of passing and four touchdown passes last week. This secondary is very talented so that needs to be cleaned up for them to have a chance this week. The key question will be can the Tar Heel front seven contain Louisville’s Lamar Jackson. He’s so dynamic and is tough to contain, to say the least.

The Cardinals had trouble hanging onto the ball against Purdue in their close win this past Saturday. If UNC wants to hang with Louisville, forcing a few turnovers would go a long way.

The Tar Heels are hoping to correct the mistakes they made against Cal and put in a much better effort against the Cardinals. They don’t want to start 0-2, especially when both games are at home. I expect them to come out better this weekend and possibly even pull off an upset victory.
