The Clemson Tigers barely escaped the Auburn Tigers last year. Auburn gave Clemson all they could handle before the defense finally sealed it. This year, both Clemson and Auburn have new starting quarterbacks.

For Auburn, having a new quarterback behind center is a good thing. For Clemson, that is not. Legendary Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson left for the NFL and Kelly Bryant is left to command the offense now.

Bryant managed more than 300 total yards and two touchdowns vs. Kent State. Auburn quarterback and former Baylor transfer Jarrett Stidham played well against Georgia Southern in Week 1, leading to a 41-7 victory.

Clemson is a five point favorite. Auburn will not go away easily. They look like a better team than they were one season ago. However, Clemson needs to show that they fit the bill as the favorite in the ACC after Florida State lost to Alabama.
