2. Allen makes fewer mistakes than Kenny Hill

TCU’s senior quarterback Kenny Hill had a great performance in Week 1. He threw for more than 200 yards and four touchdowns with only one interception. Considering both Allen and Hill faced FCS defenses, Hill was by far the more impressive.

Hill was the main source of offense in the meeting between TCU and Arkansas last year. He totaled five touchdowns and threw for 439 yards. Yet, he also threw two untimely interceptions that partly cost TCU the game.

While TCU has a good running game, led by Kyle Hicks, they’re not as deep in the backfield as Arkansas. Allen has the privilege of having the rushing attack take some of the offensive burden off his shoulders.

Allen and Hill competed toe to toe last year. Both quarterbacks played well and both threw two interceptions. The quarterback play will ultimately determine the outcome. This year, Allen turns the table and is the more efficient quarterback.
