4. Bret Bielema needs to stay off the hot seat

Bielema at least promises not to have Arkansas bottom out in the SEC West each year. However, they have not come close to contending at the top of the SEC in quite a while. Arkansas does bring in some pretty good recruiting classes on a consistent basis and have a pretty large fan base.

Expectations start to mount and patience starts to run out when a big program keeps their record around .500 year in and year out. Bielema could be fighting for his job pretty soon. While he is a fun and controversial figure as a head coach, he needs to win a few more games.

The entire college football world witnesses what happened to Kevin Sumlin and the Texas A&M Aggies against Josh Rosen and the UCLA Bruins. Bielema can take a lesson on how UCLA head coach Jim Mora likely saved his job for the time being by winning the game and Sumlin possibly is on the hottest seat in the country.

Arkansas is a program that is hard to predict. They pull out a few crazy wins each year that you would not expect and get dominated in others that you expected them to win or at least compete in. Yet, Bielema will be ready for this one.
