Oklahoma State Football: 3 bold predictions vs. South Alabama
3. JD King, LD Brown each get into the end zone
Oklahoma State had their way with the Golden Hurricane defense in the run game. Not only did sophomore running back Justice Hill rush for 132 yards and one touchdown, some other rushers got involved as well.
Freshman running backs J.D. King and LD Brown each averaged more than 15.0 yards per carry on at least five attempts. King broke free on a 71-yard rushing touchdown on one of his first career attempts.

The future looks bright for the Pokes at running back. In addition to Brown, King, and Hill, the Cowboys also have Canadian true freshman Chuba Hubbard waiting in the wings. However, Hubbard might not get to play this season and could ultimately get redshirted.
If Oklahoma State jumps out to an early lead, younger players will get more playing time. King and Brown’s carries could rack up quick. Gundy would not put Hill in position to get 20 or more carries with a huge lead.
