Oklahoma State football and South Alabama Jaguars meet for the first time ever this Saturday night in Week 2. How to watch, predictions and more.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys look to remain perfect in Week Two, this time on the road against the South Alabama Jaguars. The Cowboys put up over 600 yards of offense in Week One, defeating the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes soundly, 59-24.

Heisman hopeful quarterback Mason Rudolph went 20-for-24 (83.3 percent) for 303 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. Wide receiver James Washington, another potential Heisman candidate, had six receptions for 145 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the game. Despite battling a Hernia injury, Washington and Rudolph looked good as they begin their senior seasons.

Running back Justice Hill looked good as well, rushing for 132 rushing yards and a touchdown in the game.

The South Alabama Jaguars lost their Week One matchup on the road to the Ole Miss Rebels, 47-27. They’re looking to improve their overall product under head coach Joey Jones after going 6-7 in 2016. After trailing 13-10 at halftime, the Rebels put up 27 points in the third quarter to pull away from the Jaguars. They’re an improving squad, but still not quite up to par with other FBS squads just yet.

Here’s how you can watch Friday’s Oklahoma State vs. South Alabama game:

Keys to Victory

Quarterback Mason Rudolph and the Cowboys offense looked good in Week One and should pick up where they left off with no issue in Week Two. Look for wide receiver James Washington to have another big game with over 100 receiving yards in the game.

South Alabama gave up eight catches for 233 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns to wide receiver A.J. Brown last week. Giving Washington that many opportunities should spell doom in the end.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys defense will need to improve after allowing 24 points and 432 total yards of offense in their season opening victory. While the Jaguars serve as the home team, they may not be equipped to handle the Oklahoma State offense.

Prediction

The game shouldn’t be close at the end, although the Jaguars may serve as a challenge early in the contest. Rudolph and Washington have a Big 12 title on their radar this season so expect another nearly flawless performance from them on the road.

Final Score: Oklahoma State 42, South Alabama 10
