2. Positive momentum stemming from Texas A&M win

Some worry about a potential hangover after a big win like the one UCLA had over Texas A&M last week. The Bruins came back from 34 points down, as previously mentioned, to complete one of the biggest comebacks in college football history.

No one gave this team a shot to even compete in the second half when the score was 38-10 heading into the halftime locker room. However, the Bruins rode the strong arm of Josh Rosen all the way to victory. Oh yeah, and the defense stepped up against an unproven quarterback and made Kellen Mold extremely uncomfortable.

The momentum stemming from that huge win will surely carry over into this one rather than lead to a hangover from celebrating long into the week. UCLA knows what happened last year with the 4-8 finish and the Bruins are poised to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.

Jim Mora and the Bruins won’t be overlooking anyone this season, not even the Rainbow Warriors who have had little success against Pac-12 teams, not named Colorado, in recent years.
