The Wisconsin football program plays their second consecutive home game at Camp Randall Stadium against the Florida Atlantic Owls.

The Wisconsin Badgers continue their quest for a College Football Playoff berth against Lane Kiffin and the Florida Atlantic Owls. Kiffin fell short of his Week 1 opponent, the Navy Midshipmen, by a score of 42-19.

Wisconsin had a much better Week 1 than Florida Atlantic. The Badgers defeated the Utah State Aggies, 59-10, behind a big effort from quarterback Alex Hornibrook. Utah State and Florida Atlantic should pose around the same challenge for Wisconsin.

Florida Atlantic is one of the few college football programs in Florida that will actually get to play this weekend. Hurricane Irma canceled quite a few of the games played in Week 2. However, since the Owls are traveling to Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, WI, for this game, they’ll actually get to play.

This is one of the first matchups to kickoff on Sep. 9. Kiffin is always a fun coach to watch and should provide some high-level entertainment, even if the Owls lose by a lot. We could also see former “Last Chance U” quarterback De’Andre Johnson get some reps. If Florida Atlantic is down by a few scores, they should give the backups some playing time.

The early Saturday games in Week 2 could bring some upsets. Watch out for Cincinnati facing Michigan, LA-Monroe vs. Florida State, Louisville vs. North Carolina, and East Carolina vs. West Virginia. There’s a great chance that none of those teams that are favored get upset. However, those should make for some interesting matchups.

Wisconsin is one of the favorites to bring home the Big Ten Championship as they have an easier path than the rest of the favorites to win the conference. In order to do that, they need to keep rolling by winning easier contests like this one.

Now, let’s take a look at three bold predictions for Florida Atlantic vs. Wisconsin.
