1. Jonathan Taylor and Bradrick Shaw rush for 250 yards

Freshman running back Jonathan Taylor led the Badgers in rushing last week. Taylor notched 87 yards on the ground and one touchdown. Starting running back Bradrick Shaw rushed for 84 yards on 18 carries.

While Taylor’s yards per carry were much better than Shaw’s, both played extremely well against Utah State. They helped Wisconsin get over a slow start. There’s another chance for Wisconsin to have a huge game on the ground.

Florida Atlantic faced a strong run game in Week 1 against Navy. Preparing for the triple option is very difficult and that could make things easier for the Owls this week. Wisconsin does have a very different offense than Navy.

If the Badgers get ahead early, Taylor and Shaw could have a field day. A lot depends on how Alex Hornibrook plays in the first two quarters. Expect Wisconsin to get over 300 rushing yards in the game, led by Taylor and Shaw.
