Mississippi State football traveled to Louisiana Tech on Saturday night and had one of the wildest plays you’ll ever see.

Right when you think you’ve seen it all, something like what happened with Mississippi State football at Louisiana Tech on Saturday night happens.

The Bulldogs forced one of the rarest third downs of all-time. Actually, it’s safe to say this is the longest potential third-down conversion attempt in college football history. After looking at second-and-goal, Louisiana Tech fumbled the ball and craziness ensued.

Instead of just falling on the ball to secure the turnover, Mississippi State players fumbled with it trying to pick it up for a return touchdown. As you can see, that will result in something this insane:

If you say you’ve seen something like this before in your life, you’re probably lying. This is the wildest first-and-goal fumble and near recovery in the history of college football — probably.

The Bulldogs were already up big, 57-14, on Louisiana Tech, so the muffed fumble recovery didn’t hurt, but it was definitely fun to watch. Just put some clown music in the background and it will be that much funnier.

Dan Mullen has gotten his Bulldogs off to a strong 2-0 start to the season and there’s a good chance this team is on its way back to SEC relevance after a tough 2016 season.

Third-and-93? It’s safe to say that Louisiana Tech didn’t convert it. You’ll probably never see another play like that for as long as you live.
