Washington football is off to a 2-0 start this season. This week, the Huskies were a lot more settled in their 63-7 victory over Montana.

The Washington Huskies made easy work of the Montana Grizzlies, leading 21-7 before the end of the first quarter.

Montana’s first points of the game came on an interception returned by safety Josh Sandry 36 yards for a touchdown. They were the Grizzlies only points of the game, too.

The Washington Huskies football team let their offense set the tone this week and the defense followed suit.

They even got some special teams highlight from wide receiver Dante Pettis.

It was a much better all-around performance than their Week One game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights where they struggled early. It looks like they shook the cobwebs out this week and it showed.

Here are three takeaways from their 63-7 victory over Montana.
