Big Ten football went 10-4 during Week 2. Ohio State took a hit to their swagger with a loss to Oklahoma. Did they take a dive in the Week 3 power rankings?

Another college football Saturday has come and gone. It was another good one for the Big Ten, with seven Power 5 versus Power 5 match-ups on the slate. From top to bottom the conference posted several enjoyable games including a quietly exciting shootout between Iowa and Iowa State.

The biggest game for the conference was Oklahoma at Ohio State and the Buckeyes fell flat at home. Elsewhere, one Big Team was successful on their trip out west and another was not. Also, a week after declaring maybe the bottom of the conference isn’t so bad, Rutgers went out and did Rutgers type things.

All in all, it wasn’t a bad week for the conference and we have a new team at the top of the rankings. There is one more week of non-conference play for most teams before the conference slate starts. That’s when the churn could start to become even more significant.
